CBS blocks gay commercial

In the past week, ManCrunch.com was denied a spot for a commercial for the upcoming Superbowl this Sunday.

At first, CBS told ManCrunch that their credit did not go through. Even after ManCrunch was willing to pay in cash, CBS then told them there was “no more ad space.”

In reality, CBS had open ad space at the time. The commercial ManCrunch wanted to sell was about a gay dating service. In the commercial, two men would kiss passionately after an awkward stare off when dipping chips at the same time.

Superbowl-commercials.org states “it was a a good move to reject ManCrunch Commercial…it would have been more controversial than say…pro-choice v/s anti-choice.”

Many people are disturbed over the whole controversy. However, CBS will not let ManCrunch score an ad space this Superbowl Sunday, nor does it have any legal obligation to do so.
