Fort Dorchester High School is hosting the play M.A.S.H., a dark comedy adapted for the stage by Tim Kelly and based on the book by Richard Hooker. This play set in Korea during the Korean War in the early 1950′s. American soldiers and Korean civilians both are sent to the hospital when injured. All within the hospital setting, we see the relationships between the doctors and the nurses and the not so regular Army behavior. To make it through difficult situations in a war zone, the characters make the most of their new home with lots of silly behavior and and crazy antics.  You’re sure to laugh along as Hawkeye and Duke break just about every rule in the book!

Auditions have been completed and the cast is set!  There are about thirty five cast members and a crew of about 48!

This two-act play will be performed from December 1st-4th here at FDHS. December 1st welcomes other schools for a special performance at 10:00 am. December 2nd welcomes FORT students and staff for a special matinee at 8:30 am. December 3rd and 4th everyone is welcome to attend at 7:30 pm. All tickets are only $5.  Please come and see the play come to life as the auditorium is transformed to the 4077th M*A*S*H unit.
